Princess Charlotte and Prince George are upholding a summer tradition with their parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William!

The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, took their two eldest children to the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in London for the men's singles final on Sunday, July 12. The family received a standing ovation as they entered the prestigious Royal Box, joining celebrities like Anna Wintour, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Andrew Garfield, Tom Hiddleston, Rami Malek, Ben Stiller, and others.

Prince George, 12, and Princess Charlotte, 11, have attended several men's championship matches at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London over the years. This year, they will watch Italy's Jannik Sinner try to replicate his 2025 victory against Germany's Alexander Zverev.

The family adhered to the Royal Box's dress code for the event, with Kate wearing a sage green cape dress by Emilia Wickstead, and Charlotte donning a royal blue sundress that closely resembled the one her mother wore to the men's final the previous year. Meanwhile, William and George were coordinated in dark blue suits and ties.

The Princess of Wales proudly serves as the patron of the club where Wimbledon is held and has the privilege of presenting the finals' prizes. She has been bringing her tennis-playing children to the tournament since 2022.

Princess Kate and Prince William first brought Prince George in July 2022, when he was 8. George was just days away from his 9th birthday and watched the men's singles final with his parents.

In the summer that followed, Princess Charlotte made her first appearance at Wimbledon, also at the age of 8, attending the event with her parents and George in July 2023. The royal siblings were enthusiastic spectators in the stands and cheered when Spain's Carlos Alcaraz secured the victory.

Princess Charlotte enjoyed a girls' day at Wimbledon with her mother and aunt Pippa during the men's singles final in July 2024, where the Princess of Wales received a standing ovation while undergoing cancer treatment.

The outing was notable as one of Princess Kate's first public appearances following her announcement in March 2024 about undergoing cancer treatment. Charlotte watched with affection as her mother received overwhelming applause. In January 2025, the Princess of Wales revealed that she is in remission from an unspecified type of cancer.

Last summer, Princess Kate once again turned Wimbledon’s men’s singles finals into a family event by bringing Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte along.

George and Charlotte smartly brought their sunglasses for their prime seats in the Royal Box and left with a memorable souvenir: tennis balls signed by Sinner after his significant victory.

After the match concluded, the family met with the champion, and the Italian tennis player autographed three tennis balls for the children, including one for William and Kate’s youngest son, Prince Louis, who is now 8 years old.

“We brought one for their brother too,” Princess Kate noted, while Prince William added, “Louis would be very upset otherwise,” and they both laughed.
