LOS ANGELES (NB360) — The Super Bowl is more than just a Sunday game. It will be a nearly week-long extravaganza in New Orleans, filled with continuous entertainment leading up to the major face-off between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.

As the Chiefs and Eagles prepare for their championship rematch, New Orleans will become the hub of star-studded concerts, exclusive parties, a comedy show, and guest lists packed with celebrities. From Post Malone and Cardi B to Shaquille O’Neal, the city will be lively long before Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs aim for a historic three-peat.

“It’s going to be fun. It’s going to be different than other Super Bowls,” said Shaquille O’Neal, who will host his well-known carnival-themed Shaq’s Fun House on Friday night. This sought-after event — starting at $199 — is the NBA legend’s extravagant festival featuring headline performances by Ludacris, John Summit, and O’Neal as DJ Diesel.

O’Neal’s event will include attractions such as a Ferris wheel, circus performers, and a premium bar. This week will be a sort of homecoming for O’Neal, who played college basketball at Louisiana State University and visits Louisiana about four times a year.

For Flavor Flav, he aims to boost spirits in New Orleans following the terror attack that claimed 14 lives on New Year’s Day.

“This is going to be special. I’m here to uplift spirits,” said Flav, who will perform at Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Tailgate alongside Diplo and Cowboy Mouth on Sunday afternoon. It’s free for general admission, with paid upgraded experiences costing $49.99 and $349 for VIP tickets.

“I’m getting on the turntables to make people party and have a good time,” he said.

In addition to these events, here’s a glimpse of some of the invite-only and public happenings during the bustling Super Bowl week:

Fanatics Party

Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Super Bowl party is exclusive and requires an invitation to attend. This star-studded event on Saturday afternoon is reserved for prominent figures in sports and entertainment.

Rubin, who is the founder and CEO of Fanatics, will likely be at the forefront, enjoying performances by Post Malone, Travis Scott, Don Tolliver, and others.

Expected guests include well-known personalities such as Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Lil Baby, Tiffany Haddish, and Tom Brady.

Madden Bowl

Much like EA Sports' famous slogan, “It’s in the game,” Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton, and Shaboozey will actually be part of the Madden Bowl event.

The trio is scheduled to perform separately on Friday night, building excitement before the competition begins.

“I can’t wait to keep this party going,” Shaboozey stated.

In addition to the performances, the event will feature the Madden NFL 25 Championship Series in front of a live audience, where two of the world's top players will head to New Orleans to compete for their share of the $1 million prize pool.

Double up for some, Triple duties for Post Malone & Diplo

Stapleton will not only perform at the Madden Bowl but also headline the SiriusXM and Pandora concert on Thursday night, showcasing his powerful vocals.

His performance will be broadcast on SiriusXM’s Chris Stapleton Radio, a special channel curated by him and his band. Pandora users can listen to the Chris Stapleton Radio station.

Following Ludacris's appearance at Shaq’s Fun House on Friday, he will perform at the Super Bowl pre-game party hosted by On Location on Sunday. He will be joined by The Revivalists at the Club 67 and Touchdown Club near the Caesars Superdome, organized by One Location, a premium NFL hospitality provider.

Post Malone is also set for multiple performances. He will take the stage with Fanatics at the Bud Light Backyard Tour on Friday and headline the YouTube Tailgate Concert on Sunday near the Superdome.

Diplo will perform at events for Sports Illustrated and Maxim, as well as Guy Fieri’s tailgate party.

Gospel celebration

Bill Bellamy and Rocsi Diaz are set to infuse some gospel spirit into the Big Easy.

The duo will host the Super Bowl Soulful Celebration on Wednesday night, featuring top musical acts like The Isley Brothers, Muni Long, Yolanda Adams, Tori Kelly, and Jonathan McReynolds.

Additional performances will include New Orleans locals Master P, Big Freedia, Lucky Daye, and Trombone Shorty. The NFL Players Choir will also take part.

“Hosting the Super Bowl Soulful Celebration is like hitting the trifecta: music, faith, and football all in one show,” Bellamy said. “I’m thrilled to bring some laughs, energy, and to be part of this incredible night with an amazing lineup.”

Michael Strahan, an NFL Hall of Famer and co-anchor of “Good Morning America,” will be awarded the Lifetime of Inspiration award, which he described as “truly special.”

New Orleans Saints player Cameron Jordan will receive the community award, while Los Angeles Rams' standout rookie Jared Verse will be honored with the rising star award.

Timbaland and Maxim

Renowned producer Timbaland is set to bring his hit songs to New Orleans with Maxim's support.

Timbaland will take the stage at a special concert during the Maxim Saints & Sinners Big Game Party on Saturday. The event will also feature DJ Loud Luxury, Plastik Funk, DJ unKommon, and former NFL player Le’Veon Bell.

DJ unKommon and Diplo will be the main performers at a pregame party on Friday.

Other concerts happening around the Super Bowl

Captain Morgan will turn Bourbon Street into Rum Street with T-Pain, who will headline a concert on Saturday night.

Dom Dolla and Diplo will take the stage at the Sports Illustrated Party.

On Friday, Nelly and Chainsmokers are scheduled to perform at the h.wood Homecoming and Draft Kings event. Shannon Sharpe and Chad “Ochosinco” Johnson will present an in-person podcast called the Nightcap NSFW Tour.
