La Romana Private Jet Crash Captured on Camera as US Aircraft Ignites Fireball in Dominican Republic

Chilling footage displays a private jet skidding across a runway before exploding into a massive fireball, resulting in the deaths of both crew members on board.

The shocking video captures the moment a private jet sped across a runway and burst into a huge fireball, killing the two crew members on board.

The intense video shows the US-registered business jet racing along the ground at high speed near La Romana International Airport in the Dominican Republic, raising large clouds of dirt and debris as it went off track.

As the plane slid across the airfield, parts of the fuselage seemed to break apart due to the impact's force.

Soon after, flames erupted from the back of the jet before a larger explosion engulfed the aircraft.

The footage concludes with the wreckage engulfed in flames, with thick black smoke rising into the sky as emergency crews rush to the scene.

Dominican aviation authorities confirmed the crash resulted in the deaths of the pilot and co-pilot. No passengers were on board.

The aircraft has been identified as a GALX private jet with US registration number N318JF.

According to Dominican Today, the aircraft had departed from La Romana International Airport and was headed to Austin, Texas, before declaring an emergency about 16 nautical miles southwest of the airport.

The Dominican Civil Aviation Institute and the country’s Aviation Accident Investigation Commission stated that emergency protocols were immediately activated following the incident.

Investigators are currently working to determine the cause of the aircraft crash.

The identities of the two crew members have not yet been disclosed.
